To help us help you access your website, please explore the following
steps to debug (narrow-down) problems accessing/displaying your own website (pages therein, WP editor, etc.)
Let us know specifically which ones DO work, and which ones do NOT work(include the resulting error message)
CONNECTION/BLOCK TO THE SERVER
--Are you successful in displaying/accessing (your web page):
- Using different browser (chrome, safari, firefox, etc.)
- Using a different computer
- Using a different IP connection ( e.g., cellular tower data instead of WiFi, perhaps directly on a cell phone or tethered)
- Using browserling (or other third-party “objective” website remote viewer – i.e., see how your website looks from a different context)

- Rebooted computer and cable modem
- Is your account (or domain registration) suspended due to non-payment or other expiration
- Can you display:
PROBLEM is that your browser displays a PREVIOUS version of your web page content:
- Try the steps above
- Edit the URL to add a QUESTION MARK (?) at the end of the URL https://google.com?
- Press function key F5 or Control-R
- See if there’s a difference among URLs using: http:// vs. https:// or www.YourDOmain.com vs. YourDomain.com
SSL OR URL PROBLEM (“not secure”)
- Try http:// vs. https:/
- Make sure your cPanel>> Domains>>Domains>> is set to select: [Force https Redirect: ON]
- Test your domain’s certificate using: https://www.digicert.com/help/
Note: this validation page tries to sell you a certificate which you do NOT need – our servers provide SSL certificates FREE… thus ignore these two:
- The Certificate is not issued by DigiCert, GeoTrust, Thawte, or RapidSSL
- TLS Certificate status cannot be validated
- if your account is OVER QUOTA for disk quota, SSL certificates would not be able to be automatically renewed (free)… renewals are checked each overnight.
- Contact our support team (sherwoodsupport.com) to check your SSL certificate
